Up at 0630am for early solo surf on new swell. Probably double overhead on takeoff. Massive lines by summer standards, but paddle out just possible with punishment. Faces were hollow and lightly dappled by the wind. Oily calm. Took a few set waves from WAY out the back. Made a few big drops and got nailed on another. Awesome.
